“Present” in a Virtual School
A student is considered present when they:
- Log in on time
- Attend scheduled live sessions
- Participate visibly (camera per policy)
- Submit required assignments
- Complete asynchronous tasks
- Engage in Thrively and IXL requirements
“Present” in Hybrid Sessions
A student is considered present in hybrid settings when they:
- Enter the building safely
- Sign in at the hybrid center
- Attend scheduled learning blocks
- Participate appropriately
- Follow safety and conduct rules
Active Engagement
Active engagement includes:
- Attending live classes
- Interacting in lessons
- Posting in discussion forums
- Completing work
- Participating in Thrively routines
- Completing IXL mastery tasks
- Meeting with teachers as scheduled
Logging in without participation does not count as attendance.
