Mastery & Progression
Students advance upon mastery of grade-level standards
- Mastery may be demonstrated through:
- Assessments
- Performance tasks
- Project-based assignments
- IXL progress data
- Teacher evaluation
- Students not meeting mastery receive targeted intervention and support
Intervention & RTI
- Tiered support system:
- Tier 1: Universal supports in core instruction
- Tier 2: Small-group online interventions
- Tier 3: Intensive 1:1 or hybrid interventions
- Progress monitored biweekly
- Parents are notified of intervention plans
Late Work & Make-Up Work
- Excused absences allow full credit
- Late work for unexcused reasons may receive reduced credit
- Make-up exams scheduled within 7 days unless otherwise approved
