Cybersecurity Standards

The School maintains a comprehensive cybersecurity framework that includes:

  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
  • Encrypted communication systems
  • Network monitoring and threat detection
  • Firewalls and content filtering
  • Automated alerts and logging
  • Quarterly IT audits
  • Annual cybersecurity reviews

B. Staff Responsibilities

All employees are required to:

  • Protect passwords and login credentials
  • Use only School-approved devices and platforms for student data
  • Avoid installing unapproved software
  • Secure devices when unattended
  • Immediately report suspected security incidents
  • Complete required annual cybersecurity training

C. Student Cybersecurity Expectations

Students are expected to follow School guidelines regarding:

  • Password protection
  • Identification of phishing attempts or suspicious links
  • Reporting unsafe or concerning online activity
  • Safe and ethical use of digital resources
  • Compliance with copyright and intellectual property laws

D. Security Incident Response

In the event of a suspected cybersecurity incident, the School will:

  • Isolate affected systems or devices
  • Conduct an internal investigation
  • Review system logs and access records
  • Suspend access as necessary
  • Notify leadership and impacted parties when appropriate
  • Implement corrective and preventive measures
