COMMUNICATION PROTOCOLS
Approved Communication Channels
The School uses the following platforms:
- Parent portal
- School email
- LMS messaging
- Official school phone number
- Mass SMS alerts
- Virtual parent meetings
- Hybrid center communication boards
Staff may not communicate with families through personal phone numbers or social media.
Staff Response Time Standards
Staff must respond to parent communication within:
- 48 hours on school days
- 72 hours on weekends/holidays (nonurgent)
Urgent safety concerns must be addressed immediately.
Parent Response Expectations
Parents must:
- Respond to school inquiries within 48 hours
- Communicate absences by 9:00 AM
- Provide updated contact information
- Read and acknowledge school-wide notices
Respectful Communication Policy
All communication must remain respectful. Prohibited behaviors include:
- Aggressive or abusive speech
- Hate speech
- Harassment
- Threatening language
- Disrespectful tone
The School may limit communication channels for repeated violations.
