COPPA Compliance
For students under age 13, the School:
- Obtains verifiable parental consent
- Uses only COPPA-compliant digital tools
- Prohibits data use for advertising or marketing
- Allows parents to review, revoke, or restrict permissions
Approved Digital Tools
Only School-approved applications may be used. All tools are vetted annually and must meet cybersecurity and privacy standards. Unauthorized or non-compliant platforms are prohibited.
Data Use Restrictions
Student and family data may not be used for:
- Commercial or marketing purposes
- Sale or transfer to third parties
- Behavioral profiling
- Unapproved research
Third-Party Vendors
All vendors must sign Data Privacy Agreements and comply with FERPA, COPPA, and cybersecurity requirements. Vendors may not retain or reuse data after contract termination.
