Digital Accessibility
The School follows best practices in online accessibility and designs digital learning environments informed by WCAG 2.1 standards where feasible. Supports may include:
- Screen-reader compatibility
- Captioning options (when available)
- Keyboard navigation
- Color-contrast compliance
- Alt text for images (where appropriate)
- Accessible assessments
Online Academic Accommodations
Possible accommodations include:
- Extended time on assignments and assessments
- Recorded lessons
- Modified workloads
- Reduced distractions
- Assistive technology tools
- Accessible formats and visual schedules
- Speech-to-text and text-to-speech tools
Instructional & SEL Supports
Teachers are expected to use multimodal instruction, clear expectations, scaffolded supports, and alternative demonstrations of mastery. Behavioral and SEL supports may include check-ins, SEL lessons, coaching sessions, and positive reinforcement systems.
