STAFF CONDUCT & EXPECTATIONS
Remote Work Performance Standards
Remote staff must:
- Maintain professional behavior at all times
- Be available during scheduled work hours
- Attend virtual meetings punctually
- Maintain a dependable work environment
- Notify administration of any tech or workenvironment issues
Professional Use of Technology
Staff must:
- Use only Schoolapproved devices and platforms
- Protect login credentials
- Store all student data in secure, encrypted systems
- Maintain compliance with privacy laws
Violations may result in disciplinary action.
Social Media & Public Communications
Staff must maintain professional online behavior. Prohibited actions include:
- Connecting with students on personal social media
- Posting student info or images without consent
- Sharing internal or confidential school issues online
- Posting content inconsistent with School values
Only authorized staff may speak publicly on behalf of the School.
Mandatory Reporting Duties
All staff must complete annual abusereporting training and must report:
- Suspected abuse
- Neglect
- Concerning online behaviors
Reports must follow legal requirements and School procedures.
Staff Evaluation & Professional Growth
Staff will be evaluated through:
- Virtual classroom observations
- Review of asynchronous lessons
- Student performance data
- Parent/student feedback
- Compliance with professional responsibilities
Ongoing professional development (virtual or hybrid) is mandatory and documented.
Attendance, Work Hours & Time Tracking
Staff must:
- Follow assigned work schedules
- Log attendance in digital timetracking systems
- Attend required meetings
- Request leave in advance
- Avoid patterns of absenteeism
Failure to comply may result in corrective action.
