Progressive Discipline
Corrective action may include:
- Verbal warning
- Written warning
- Formal improvement plan
- Suspension (where permitted by HR policy)
- Termination
Serious violations may result in immediate termination.
Grounds for Immediate Termination
Immediate termination may occur for:
- Abuse or neglect of a student
- Sexual misconduct
- Serious safety violations
- Criminal behavior
- Fraud or financial misconduct
- Data privacy or confidentiality breaches
- Repeated insubordination
- Failure to fulfill mandatory reporting obligations
Voluntary Separation
Employees who resign must:
- Provide written notice
- Participate in an exit process if requested
- Return all school property
- Relinquish system access
- Support an orderly transition of duties
Post-Employment Obligations
Former employees must:
- Maintain confidentiality of student and school information
- Refrain from representing themselves as school staff
- Avoid unauthorized use of proprietary materials
