POST-CRISIS REENTRY
Following a crisis event, the School will support safe reintegration of students and restoration of learning environments through structured reunification, documentation, and appropriate student support follow-up.
Family Reunification (Hybrid)
Following an emergency, the School will implement a structured reunification plan to ensure students are released only to authorized adults. Procedures include:
- Identity verification
- Check-out forms
- Controlled entry/exit points
- Communication through official School channels
Only adults listed in the student’s file may pick up the student.
Student Support Follow-Up (Online and Hybrid)
When a crisis involves emotional distress, threats, harassment, or safety concerns, the School will:
- Schedule SST follow-up as appropriate
- Provide resources or referrals as needed
- Document the support steps taken
- Implement monitoring or safety measures (as appropriate to the incident)
Return to Participation After Health Incidents
For communicable illness or fever, students may return to hybrid participation only when they meet School health requirements (including being fever-free for 24 hours without medication) and when required documentation is on file.
Documentation, Review, and Continuous Improvement
Following a crisis, the CRT will ensure:
- Incident documentation is completed and secured
- Insurance-related incident reporting occurs within required timelines (within 24 hours when applicable)
- Procedures are reviewed for improvement
- Annual review, simulations, and updates are conducted and presented to the Board of Directors as required
