DIGITAL PRIVACY PROTECTIONS

COPPA Compliance

For students under age 13, the School:

  • Obtains verifiable parental consent
  • Uses only COPPA-compliant digital tools
  • Prohibits data use for advertising or marketing
  • Allows parents to review, revoke, or restrict permissions

Approved Digital Tools

Only School-approved applications may be used. All tools are vetted annually and must meet cybersecurity and privacy standards. Unauthorized or non-compliant platforms are prohibited.

Data Use Restrictions

Student and family data may not be used for:

  • Commercial or marketing purposes
  • Sale or transfer to third parties
  • Behavioral profiling
  • Unapproved research

Third-Party Vendors

All vendors must sign Data Privacy Agreements and comply with FERPA, COPPA, and cybersecurity requirements. Vendors may not retain or reuse data after contract termination.
