HYBRID CENTER TRAVEL PROTOCOLS
General Transportation Policy for Hybrid Centers
Because the School operates primarily online, travel to hybrid centers is:
- Minimal
- Optional
- Parent-provided unless stated otherwise
Transportation may be provided for:
- Hybrid center special events
- Assessments
- School-sponsored enrichment experiences
When provided, only:
- School-authorized vehicles
- Insured drivers may transport students.
Staff Transportation of Students
Staff may NOT transport students in personal vehicles unless:
- Approved in writing
- Driver insurance is documented
- Background checks are complete
- Parent permission is obtained
- No other transportation exists
This is strongly discouraged and only for exceptional circumstances.
Staff Travel Reimbursement
Pre-approved staff travel may be reimbursed for:
- Mileage
- Lodging
- Meals
- Training registration fees
- Parking/tolls
